About Dr. Fagin

Colby Fagin, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, fellowship trained in spinal surgery. He treats patients in the Albany, Georgia, community at Orthopaedic Associates.

With a strong passion for treating pain, Dr. Fagin’s interest in medicine began when he studied at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he graduated with a degree in biology and neuroscience.

Dr. Fagin continued his medical journey shortly after graduation, entering into a medical program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at Rutgers’ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

After graduating from medical school in 2009, Dr. Fagin decided to hone in on his orthopaedic surgery expertise, eventually becoming an orthopaedic surgery resident at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.

Though he has worked as an orthopaedic surgeon for nearly a decade, Dr. Fagin’s passion for education hasn’t waned. To improve his surgical abilities, he completed a spine surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

The newest member of the Orthopaedic Associates team, Dr. Fagin is committed to providing his new patients with the highest quality care possible, diagnosing and treating orthopaedic complications like knee and joint pain, osteoarthritis, scoliosis, and more.

When Dr. Fagin isn’t with his patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, who also works in the medical field, and traveling around the world.
